Message from Dr. Urvi's desk
“Heart disease is increasingly affecting the young population of India and thus we need to do something about this epidemic. Post-procedure, rehabilitation is an extremely untravelled idea in India, and it needs to be given its due importance. As important is the heart surgery, equally important is the Rehabilitation thereafter.
Why should anyone feel demotivated or unenergetic post a heart attack or a cardiac surgery? It is the dutiful right of the patients to get back to an active lifestyle with confidence and a sense of wellbeing!
Moreover, preventive rehabilitation is such an untouched field and has such a large scope in our country, but due to lack of awareness of risk factors of heart disease, many people are early victims of ischemic heart ailments.”
