Tele-rehabilitation refers to the delivery of rehabilitation services via interactive communication technologies. <\/strong>Clinically, this term encompasses a range of rehabilitation services that include assessment, monitoring, supervision, education, consultation and counseling.<\/p>\n

In uncertain times such as the COVID-19<\/strong> pandemic, telerehabilitation becomes a great portal for rehabilitation treatment delivery.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Once patients start this program and if the situation improves, we can even plan for an on-site treatment session at our rehabilitation center.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Since Tele-rehab<\/strong> as a concept is relatively new to most patients, and hence before getting started, CareHabitat <\/strong>offers a comprehensive video illustrating how the tele-rehab model will work. This will give patients a good idea and understanding of the telerehabilitation <\/span> program.<\/p>\n

Our tele-rehab program consists of the following:<\/strong><\/h4>\n

  • Individual audio\/video consultation call<\/strong> to understand the patient\u2019s complaints<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Setting the rehab program goals<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n
  • 6 video sessions<\/strong> conducted by our specialized rehabilitation therapist (sessions can be in a small group format)<\/span><\/li>\n
  • 2 individual one to one video sessions<\/strong> (scheduled by our rehabilitation therapist)<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Educational videos<\/strong> regarding the patient\u2019s case profile<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Exercise<\/strong> specific videos<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Group yoga class<\/strong> will be conducted (Session will be scheduled depending on the convenience of everyone receiving the treatment)<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Diet tips<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • Follow-up video sessions<\/strong> post 3 months, 6 months and 1 year of completion of the tele-rehab program<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    But currently, keeping in mind the situation, it is highly encouraged to start a tele-rehab program. Do not postpone your treatment post-cardiac surgery\/procedure when great online care is available.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
